This policy explains what personal data FairWork Ready collects, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who We Are
The data controller is Adherence Digital Ltd (Company No. 08847581), trading as FairWork Ready, operating the FairWork Ready service at fairworkready.com. You can contact us at hello@fairworkready.com. Adherence Digital Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (Registration Reference: ZB038325).
2. What Data We Collect
Intake form data
When you purchase the compliance pack, you provide:
- Company name and registered address
- Number of employees
- Industry sector
- Contact email address
This information is used to customise your compliance documents and to send you your pack and any subsequent updates.
Payment data
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Analytics data
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 may collect anonymised information including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. This data is only collected if you accept cookies via the consent banner.
No cookies are set beyond the GA4 analytics cookie. We do not use persistent tracking cookies for any other purpose.
3. Data Processors
We share your data with the following processors, each bound by data processing agreements:

4. Lawful Basis for Processing
- Contract performance: Processing your intake data and email address is necessary to fulfil your purchase and deliver your compliance pack.
- Legitimate interest: Sending document update emails during your 12-month subscription period. You can opt out at any time by emailing hello@fairworkready.com.
- Consent: Analytics cookies (GA4) — collected only if you accept via the cookie banner.
5. Data Retention
Order data (intake form information and email address) is retained for 12 months from the date of purchase to enable us to provide document updates during your subscription period. After 12 months, unless you have renewed your subscription, your data is securely deleted.
Payment records (processed by Stripe) are retained by Stripe in accordance with their legal obligations and their own retention policy.
6. Your GDPR Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure: Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal obligations).
- Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests (e.g. update emails).
- Right to restrict processing: Ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
We do not set any cookies unless you accept the cookie consent banner. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 cookies are set to help us understand how visitors use the site. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, or by rejecting cookies in the banner on your next visit.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at fairworkready.com/privacy. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers.
